Keep em peeled

Firstly apologies for not posting again last weekend, argh!

I have been very busy settling into a new routine since my move and hope to schedule in a good stint of drawing over the coming weeks.

I am determined to keep this blog going until I run out of characters!

You may be pleased to read that there will be a post this weekend – now to knuckle down and finish the write up, don’t hold your breath for today (at least not to the point of passing out) but eyes peeled as another character is on its way ^^

Dro'Zar

Little is known about this elderly feline. He isn’t the secretive sort, but is a humble soul who rarely tells tales of his extraordinary life. He maintains an air of calm collectiveness and whilst he emits an aura that demands respect he is not the sort to impose his ideals upon others. 

Dro’Zar stands a mere 5ft 1in tall. His body resembles that of a teenage boy, his initial appearance could easily be mistaken for a young 15 year old Felid and yet he has weathered more years than we can count. His actual age is unknown.

He very rarely speaks outright. Dro’Zar is a philosophical soul who exhibits few of the vampiric tendencies that others of his race display. Perhaps being aged means he has grown accustomed to the urges that others of his kind display. He bows genially towards us after the interview and exits in the same cool manner he entered the room.

Sorry people, no upload this weekend and possibly not next weekend either. I have plenty of images ready to go but am currently moving house/emigrating...as one does lol. I will get the new pics up as soon as I have time...u should write your own titbits whilst i wait, send me a good character and I will make! (or attempt to) Hope u all had a nice Easter and bear with me thru this break....as i said many more to come! x

Zyaxine Grenavere Teraegu

Such an easy name ¬.¬

Credits to my pal Aulakauss for the written concept/all aspects of this character! As always, Aula delivered the premise in intricate and flawless detail.

 

Zyaxine comes across as cold and calculating. Her hair is threaded like silver wires.

At 22yrs old and standing 5ft 10in tall she very well portrays the visage of a mathematical droid. Her augmentations are archaic by choice. Hailing from a wealthy backdrop and a technologically advanced isle means she has had a great deal of options. Zya always chooses the painful ones, the invasive ones

Her body is now almost entirely hardwired and fused into her metallic armour plating. She says it’s liberating, like walking around naked. Yet Zya would never walk around without attire. She is in fact so closed that she acts as though her thoughts are based on algorithms, and are merely answers selected from a given set of responses.

She rarely opens up to anyone.

She considers her normal facilities as painfully obvious, yet many remain oblivious to the fact she is alive. Although she acts well her persona occasionally spills over in defiance.

Zya doesn’t play this charade for perverse kicks, well not always.

Arian Canzerth

Looks like butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth.

It should be noted that butter also won’t melt if you put it in front of your head and shoot it with a gun. In said instance you can guarantee you won’t be left with a great deal of brains, literal or otherwise. And such is the way Arian can manipulate minds. Living under the care of Ezra and their resident healer Ruok she is 45 yrs old 5ft 9in tall and apparently blind. She has servants at her beck and call.  

In truth Arian is a daddy’s girl. She is a spoilt brat and has always lived a life of luxury. We know she is skilled in illusion and mentored Na’Ru. She presents us with two images of self, neither of which convinces us that she isn’t lying. We would like to suppose that the blue, sickly looking version is accurate, but maybe it’s simply an image to garner sympathy. 

We are told that the major regretful incident to befall Arian and Ezra was that their plush summer house set alight and took the lives of their parents. The noble Chantz Canzerth and his wife, Miri, died in that fire.

Such a sad incident and one that left Arian as the prime doleful heir to the Canzerth’s estate; how unfortunate. 

Lukas Graye (again)

Revamped version of our beloved Luke Graye; unchanged in personality he insists we revise his portrait as often as our skills improve. Did we mention his insane vanity? Or general insanity?

If we didn’t it may have been because the staff fell over themselves a few times before completing this.

After a several questions it is clear that Lukas is still sadistic, malevolent and depraved as ever. Only a twisted mind would answer favourite hobby as, ‘genetic manipulation and the expansion of the mind.’ Mostly because we assume this expansion comes at the cost of a few unwilling ‘subjects’ or worse, ‘creations,’ that we dare not imagine.

So I guess the only question left is do gods of death wear shirts?
 

-          Apparently not.

Evyn Graye

Evan Graye is 5ft 8in tall and appears to be 27 years old. Two years younger than his brother Luke, Evan has a long list of well-documented and notable scientific achievements.

His name has undergone a slight alteration to the spelling of ‘Evyn’

and in a few smaller communities he is known as ‘Elwyn.’  

Evyn considers himself as a realist who seeks to repair the world to its former state. He strives to cure the ill-afflicted and seeks to restore humanity to his vision of what once was.
A fellow scientist and mathematician he is at loggerheads with Lukas. Evyn believes his own causes are chaste and undeniably just; he purifies that which Lukas corrupts.

In person Evyn is warm and agreeable. He is undoubtedly of a very high intellect and does not talk down to those of lesser understanding. He is calm, patient and meticulous. We like him but cannot deny he comes off as too condescendingly sweet. We conclude that Evyn is much like a very rich dessert; he’s great for two or three spoonful’s but trying to ingest all he has to say will only cause indigestion. 

His biggest flaw is underestimating his own ego.
